Diese handgefertigte Keramiktasse verbindet Leipziger Keramikhandwerk mit unserer Liebe zum Rohkakao. Gemeinsam mit der Keramikerin Helena von @koulou.keramik aus Leipzig haben wir sie eigens für Maya Munay gestaltet. Die Edition ist auf 40 Unikate limitiert – 20 Tassen in Minzfarben und 20 in Blau.
Die gerundete Form ohne Henkel lädt dich ein, die Kakaotasse mit beiden Händen zu umfassen. Im unteren Bereich bleibt der raue Ton unglasiert. Seine spürbare Struktur bildet einen besonderen Kontrast zu den glasierten Flächen und macht jede Berührung zu einem sinnlichen Erlebnis. Zarte Farben, erdige Nuancen und individuelle Glasurverläufe geben jeder Tasse ihren eigenen Ausdruck.

All Mayamunay products are:
No artificial substances are added. On the haciendas, only the fallen leaves of cacao, banana, and apamate trees, as well as yucca and ocumo plants, and compost are used. The compost is made from the fruiting bodies—the mazorcas. Thus, the cacao plants are nourished by the cacao plants themselves.
It is possible to create a wonderful "product" and a value chain in which there is enough of everything for all involved. To learn from each other and grow together, we work hand in hand with the farmers in Venezuela.
