Venezuela ´24 Teil 1: Die Reisefamilie

Venezuela '24 Part 1: The Travel Family

In February and March 2024, we – David and Anni from Maya Munay together with three other lovely souls – visited the Cacao Project in Macuro.
On this path, in the truest sense of the word, we also had the chance to get to know Venezuela and the many energies that exist there.
I'm taking you on this journey. I want to share photos, videos, experiences, feelings, and experiences with you.
In the next few weeks you can follow me on this journey via Instagram, Maya Munay’s newsletter (10% discount when you sign up ;-) ), or the blog on our homepage.

When I first had the chance to try Maya Munay's cacao (thanks @junifall) last September, and then David's that same evening, I immediately felt the difference. The difference from all the countless cacaos I've had the pleasure of enjoying before.
So smooth, yet intense. Fruity, but not sour. Chocolatey, but not bitter.
And above all: straight to the heart. Both of them. David and the cacao. :)
On that full moon night, full of alchemy and magic, we talked about Venezuela. Pretty quickly, I pictured myself standing there in my mind's eye.
In the cacao forest.
In December the plans took shape and in January we launched the call - anyone who would like to come with us is very welcome.
So it happened that my partner Steve, who has come to love the transformative power of cacao, decided to accompany us. How wonderful. For all of us.
After our final wrapping ceremony in Leipzig, my dear friend Katharina also felt the call of cacao, the jungle, and travel. Wow, our little travel group continued to grow. Full of people I love.
What a blessing.

While I'm sitting in front of my backpack, ready to go, so to speak, I receive a call from Saxony.
"Hello. This is Kristin. I wanted to ask about the trip. I've never left the continent before, but I'll be fine."
After a heartwarming conversation with this woman, who was completely unknown to me but so lovingly and wittily, the hope is – I hope she's there.
And so it happened that the fifth passport landed in our "Venezuela 2024" group. How wonderful! The five of us are allowed to embark on this journey. We want to show the people of Macuro that interest is growing and that people are traveling to the other side of the world to support this project and encounter cacao.

Now we can get started – next time you'll learn all about our meeting, the arrival, and the journey across half of Venezuela. To Macuro – the place where Columbus first landed.
(maybe you can now imagine how far away and how original it is;-) )

next time you will learn more about our journey and our first impressions after arriving in beautiful Venezuela.
