Heartfelt greetings
Good day, heart.

No one can become anything before it is."

Developments at MayaMunay
Project in Macuro, cooperations, cocoa prices & information, affiliate opportunities and Spiritual Cacao Journey
Aloha dear cocoa lovers from Maya Munay,
and a wonderful full moon to everyone who has the pleasure of discovering cocoa for themselves and who supports our vision and takes in these heartfelt greetings to the family, lots of peace and quiet when receiving whatever messages reach you these days.
My invitation...I breathe in consciously 5 times and breathe out slowly and a little longer through my half-open mouth...I feel...and only when I feel clear and ready do I begin to read.
We are the creators of our world and our lives – every
Moment – every thought and every moment counts....
So much has happened with Maya Munay since we last shared information in August that we'll probably update you in several heartfelt messages, step by step.
We will report on our current development in our project in Macuro (tree sponsorships and
Water system) and also about the collaborations we have entered into, through which we promise and manifest that we will enter into benevolent, optimal long-term relationships for everyone. This month, we will make the following collaborations visible in our online shop and thus make them available to you: Cacao:reconnects
- Raw cocoa~Vital mushroom granules with cocoa from MayaMunay and
DIY oat milk products in cooperation with NECTARBAR.

Cocoa Project Macuro, Venezuela
In our joint project with the cocoa farmers of Macuro, we naturally also want to inform you about how the farmers and the cocoa trees there are currently doing and where we currently stand in the implementation of our shared visions.
Just as political and social changes in
Venezuela has been experiencing this intensely for almost 25 years and there, too, no one knows what tomorrow might bring. An unpredictable climate with less or no rainfall in some years (e.g. 2023 and 2024) currently seems to be part of a "new" unpredictable reality in some regions - including Macuro.
Furthermore, political and therefore human issues continue to lead to
The lack of infrastructural changes for the residents of Macuros has led to the fact that the infrastructure which is so important for the inhabitants of Macuro and which is actually the only one for almost the entire village population
Transport by ferry from and to Güiria only one
regularity...namely that it is almost permanently
is not on the water and repairs are extremely slow due to a lack of spare parts or extremely slow availability and specialists can be more or less successfully "repaired"...until the next repair is needed...So the water taxi often stays in the harbor, and so do the village residents...no movement, no exchange, no trade, no work, no income, no predictability, no electricity in Macuro, no rainfall, harvests and food production are reduced, people, plants, and trees adapt or, if they are younger or feel the courage, try to leave the village...
This entire chain of events or non-events not only leads to a reduction in cocoa harvests, but also affects the
entire area of subsistence farming of the local farmers –
a decline in all food products and therefore a serious
Restriction of their previous livelihood.
How do we want to help?
missing water system - crowdfunding
Since there is no water system in Macuro that supplies the water at
Collects and stores rainfall and, if necessary,
vital elixir to the trees and plants in the jungle
We see it as our most important task to create a water system. In consultation with the farmers, we are currently trying to engage a local expert who will analyze the situation and design an optimal water system that will serve all farmers and thus the entire remaining village population. This has so far failed because the ferry runs too irregularly and at times when an expert could have, the ferry simply couldn't. As soon as we are back in Macuro in January, we will devote ourselves to the water system, among other things, and if necessary, we will also hire a private fishing boat to be present on site with a water expert.
Once we know all the costs and resources, we'll launch a crowdfunding campaign so you can support us in making it happen.
Cacao ceremonial forest and tree sponsorships
As a result, and to our collective regret, a little more than half of our 222 cocoa trees, which we grew and planted ourselves, fell victim to this year's unforeseen and prolonged dry season. Since a little more than a third remain strong and vital and appear to have coped more easily with the conditions, it made sense for us to conduct a soil analysis. After a loooong time, we were able to conduct this analysis with a specialist and discovered that the soils are unevenly and sometimes severely lacking in nutrients. We have now financed these organically and are incorporating them into the soil.
Furthermore, we start with my
During our next visit in January 2025, we plan to work with worm cultures to create the best possible organic fertilizer. We are also beginning to ferment microorganisms, which will then be introduced into the soil and plants. This step will also greatly promote the revitalization and reforestation of humus soil.
Workshops funded by Maya Munay
Furthermore, this year we held a tree pruning workshop in Macuro with a Venezuelan expert, using Marlene's small cocoa hacienda as an example. This gave the farmers the opportunity to see, learn and, if they wanted, apply it themselves in a theory and practical workshop. This way they could improve the health and immune system of the trees by pruning them, avoid fungal infections and, of course, revitalize the tree and increase yields again.
Since the infrastructure and market access are still inadequate, the farmers, with two isolated exceptions, are understandably not yet inspired to apply the knowledge shared from the fermentation techniques workshops in order to simply improve the quality of the cocoa and increase their income.
Collaborations MayaMunay
Cacao: reconnects
- Raw cocoa ~ vital mushroom granules with cocoa from MayaMunay
Summary: from 1 December our cooperation with Cacao Reconnects officially starts on our homepage
Life and service for ourselves and for Cacao has brought us
resonated with Lea and Felix, the founders of Cacao Reconnects. Behind the name lies not only a love of cacao but also of medicinal mushrooms—namely Cordyceps sinensis, Reishi, Hericium, and date syrup—and their mutually potentiating health effects on our entire human system.
These cacao medicinal mushroom blends, developed with our cacao, will soon be available in optimal quality from us starting December 1st. The Cacao Reconnects products are also ceremonially processed and, on the other hand, rounded off and refined into an exquisite food that delights the palate and caresses the senses. We are very pleased about this collaboration and that we are now part of Cacao Reconnects and are able to work and serve two of these "foods and master plants," each of which belongs in its own category.

NECTARBAR & Maya Munay
make your own ceremonial DIY oat milk
Furthermore, we have entered into a wonderful cooperation with the NECTARBAR family, who for about 10 years have dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to the topic of DIY possibilities for extremely healthy and low-packaging, ecologically sound oat milk preparations that our current times allow.
Since we ourselves like to use oat milk for our private fusion with cocoa, it made sense to offer this cooperation to ourselves and our family from a single source and thus promote mutual development. So, from December 1st, you can also order the wonderful oat milk products from
order from us and not only create and prepare the optimal and tastiest oat milk for your own cocoa...No...You also really protect the environment and your wallet and continue to support our holistic vision of changing consciousness –
